TIME TO MAKE A CHANGE

With all the promises being made during the presidential campaign what changes would you like to see take place in this country?

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE MORE EFFORTS MADE TOWARDS GETTING GOOD HEALTH CARE FOR ALL. REGULATED GAS PRICES. THE LAWS FOR CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN NEED TO BE STRICTER. IT SHOULD BE AGAINST THE LAW TO SELL ANY ONES PERSONAL INFORMATION OR HAVE IT PUBLISHED ON THE INTERNET. INSURANCE COMPANIES SHOULD HAVE TO REIMBURSE YOU 10% IF YOU PAY FOR FIVE YEARS WITHOUT INCIDENT.

Improved foreign policy, with new public works programs for a start. I think the war on drugs needs to shift from the hands of the police and move more to the DEA task force and stop drugs from entering the country. This would free up police officers to do other things like crackdown on child predators. Dateline can't do it all

AS well as Universal Health Care I would love to see Federal Judges stop giving our wonderful Black men 20 years and life sentences for minial crimes and letting these rapist, child molesters and other sex offenders get off with just a slap on the wrist. Some of these 3rd strike offenders are just trying to feed their families..

I would like to first of all see some change in how a candidate even runs for President. It has been reported that Senator Obama raised $32 million in the month of January alone. That is a lot of money and it sure seems a waste to me that this kind of money has to be spent running the same t.v. ads over and over again when there are children that do not have a place to stay, food to eat or more than the clothes on their backs. I would like to see a raise in the federal minimum wage, welfare reform that really works and a limit to the salaries for those who serve in the senate and the congress. I mean these people get annual raises while our senior citizens see raises in their medicare premiums and prescription costs that surpass the minimal raise in their social security. I believe we need a full government overhaul and while the candidates are promising a whole lot, people should really study how the government works because the president doesn't have as much power or influence as people thinks he/she does. Basically the candidates need to get REAL and stop promising what they know they cannot realistically deliver.
